Wow, that was terrible. I mean, I wasn’t expecting greatness but just… I don’t know, wow.
i guess the video director did a good job mixing bjork and spineshank videos while having to deal draiman’s mental diarrhea…
Meanwhile, Will Hunt is thinking in the back of his mind “What did I get myself into?” You HAVE TO learn how to say no man!
Seems to be most of his career.
sweet flying fuck!! what a fucking hugeeeeeee pile of burning smashed assholes.
“I don’t really think it could be compared too closely to anything else”
Yeah…other than the fact that is sounds fucking exactly like Disturbed, but oddly, shittier (odd only because i wasn’t aware things could get much shittier)
not only does it sound exactly like distubred, but he hasn’t changed his appearance at all.. he still lets those shit talon things hang out of his lower lip… i think he is a little too old for that. time to grow up, old man.
Listening to this pile of shit I went from anger, to laughter, to sadness. It really is depressing how shitty it is. Not because my expectations were high, but because there are great bands out there won’t get any recognition at all while this flaming pile of shit will get shoved down people’s throats for a few weeks.
i think it could be compaired closly to disturbed….
I was never a big fan of disturbed as most of their albums sound the same except the first one. I do have to say I don’t think this is near as bad as you guys make it out to be. Sure it isn’t original or groundbreaking but these guys are all talented musicians and are getting paid the big bucks to do what they love. So… I think it’s plain and simple okay rock music. I don’t see much of an industrial sound in it but… it’s just “ok”. I can’t say it’s shitty because it’s not. I’ve heard a lot worse.
Thank you, Yagi-san…but let our Draiman hatred flame here, you keep your optimisms over at Blabbermouth or some shit
if there’s any proof that god doesn’t exist it’s that a matt pinfield impersonator like david draiman has gotten so rich off his 1st shitty korn cover band, that he’s been forced to start a second shitty korn cover band. and yet the members of apex theory and onsidezero and other visionary acts of the early 00s are toiling in obscurity, probably working in fast-food management somwhere
Sweet Handsome reference for a handle.
So, basically, this is Disturbed, but “with 10% more keyboards and programmed beats, kids!”, or whatever? Does the world really need double the amount of Disturbed?
I’d rather listen to two guys fucking.
Did he really just say this doesn’t sound like “anything” else out there? Sounds similar to EVERYTHING out there and just as crappy as Disturbed ever did. If you change yer band from regular pancakes to blueberry pancakes, but you pour Draiman shit syrup all over it, it’s STILL gonna taste like shit. Go work at a headshop and show off your fancy lip peircings and save us from hearing anymore of this…
Fuck whatever this shit is. The true “device” is the giant mechanized boner I just produced after hearing Josh Homme and Trent Reznor’s contribution to Sound City.
(Disturbed + Dope) /2 = Device
