KMFDM To Return With “Kunst” In February, Release NSFW Cover Art
KMFDM will return with a new studio album titled “Kunst” (which translates to ‘art’ in German) on February 26th on Metropolis Records. The album seeks to expose “society’s shortcomings” and will apparently feature a song titled “Pussy Riot” in support of the legally embattled Russian activist group of the same name.

They used to be one of my favorites back in the 90s. The chick who cut my hair when I was a kid got me into them with the Angst album and I was sold ever since, but let’s not fucking kid ourselves here, they’ve released the same fucking album for the past ten years and it’s COMPLETELY INANE.
Agreed for the most part. Since Attak nothing had really stood out save for a few decent but formulaic cuts here and there. Still, its comforting to know these acts still persist. Its like when old folks get excited about a new Rush record or something.

I have to agree. I had been a fan since the mid-’90s, really liked the album Attak when they got back together in 2002, but just about everything else after that has been uninspired.

Not true, last mention was 2007 though–I just checked. There was a lot of coverage in the late 90′s/early 2000′s (even MDFMK!)
