Love And Death (Ex-Korn) Premiere “The Abandoning” Music Video
The music video for Love And Death‘s new (or nü if you watch at around 23 seconds in-—if not the whole thing) single “The Abandoning” is up for viewing below. The group are fronted by ex-Korn guitarist Brian “Head” Welch and released their new album “Between Here & Lost” earlier this month.

Its weird to see head holding a mic and singing.
I would say not only the music is very nü but the video itself aswell… spineshank, orgy, videodrone, ultraspank, linkin park, etc, etc, etc, anyone?
It’s not that bad of a video actually, in terms of visuals at least.
Song isn’t too painful either. I’m almost willing to go through the choruses for that juicy as hell verse riff.
Head may have found Jesus but he never found 2010.
Not bad at all. I’m always surprised at Head’s vocal abilities.
these guys are soooo heavy…into God.
(il)
Someone teach that bassist how to hold/play the guitar (looking at you Jesus.) Music video wasn’t terrible but I was actually surprised by the music. Chorus really reminded me of earlier Demon Hunter stuff which isn’t a bad thing in my book.
Demon Hunter kick ass man. I was listening to Storm the Gates of Hell on my way home from work today. Cranked that shit!
It’s a good song. Good riffs. Head is a good guitar player and he was probably the creator of a lot of the good Korn riffs too. It’d be interesting to see what would happen if he joined Korn again.
I think the writing is on the wall and he will return for an album. That said I look forward to stealing the album off of the internet and not being surprised that not even Head can save Korn from Jon Davis.
i don’t give a head
Listening to “Fading Away” the beginning riff sounds just like the beginning riff of “ADIDAS” from Korn.
My thoughts too.
” Master, masturbate me. Master, masturbate and kill me. ” What in the heck is going on in the chorus? Head is definately back on the shit. And by shit, I mean hi-grade crystal meth. This song and video kind of rules. We may be witnessing the great awakening of Nu-Metal.
Song was better than I expected
song was not better than expected. Look at yourself in the mirror and decide if you can accept this type of music, shit is fucking wacko beyond degrees of acceptance, original Korn = a fucking following, second album, maybe some acceptance in certain groups. 3rd Korn people came back. fourth Korn=issues and every album since. do not expect shit to make a comeback.
Oh no, God forbid someone has a different opinion than you!
The drummer has the smallest drum set I’ve ever seen.
Then you’ve clearly never seen a punk band play before.
