Australian outfit Thy Art Is Murder have signed a deal with Nuclear Blast Entertainment—the fledgling division of Nuclear Blast Records headed up by ex-Roadrunner Records senior vice president of A&R Monte Conner and Nuclear Blast owner Markus Staiger.

The group will release their latest album “Hate” in North America through the aforementioned label on April 02nd. Band guitarist Andy Marsh said of the signing:

“Nuclear Blast has always represented the pinnacle of extreme metal, a last bastion in an ever evolving industry. To say we now share a label with the greatest extreme metal bands of all time is ridiculous. It was never a dream, it was impossible. But we’ve done it. The future will be heavy.”
