A sneak peek at the artwork and some early sketches from Corey Taylor‘s (Stone Sour/Slipknot) upcoming foray into comics can be seen over at Comicbookresources.com. The aforementioned feature delves into Taylor‘s four part “House Of Gold & Bones” series with Dark Horse Comics. That series will flesh out the concept of Stone Sour‘s separately-released double album, “House Of Gold & Bones“.
Issue #1 of the series will hit stands on April 17th. While not confirmed, the timing of its release suggests that the previously-rumored April release date for the second half of the “House Of Gold & Bones” double album will fall on April 16th.

I’ve been giving Part 1 some spins whenever I want to give Koi No Yokan some time to breathe, and I must say it’s far better than I ever would have let myself anticipate. Their last album was a steaming pile of shit, but they really seem to have found something to go on here. Give it an unbiased listen if you at all care to.
Come What(ever) May was an excellent album. I have very fond memories of it. It was about 5 or 6 years ago when my friends and I were obsessed with beer pong and played it every chance we got. We would go through eight or nine 30 packs of Busch Lite, PBR or MGD a week. We used to throw beer pong parties and the 3 albums that got played constantly were Stone Sours “Come What(ever) May”, Crossfades self titled and Hinders “Extreme Behavior.” These shenanigans went on for about a year and a half. Best times of my life.
It sounds like you and your Michigan Militia buddies had a blast!
Damn straight son!
