Can’t say I’ve ever appreciated any of his tunes, but I’m really impressed with this idea of his new album strictly released at sheet music, I doubt this is a marketing scheme.
If I were a fan, I’d be a little agitated that I couldn’t get the CD, hope it gets some fingers dancing around their keyboards and strings for the first time in a while.
Any artist that toys around with different methods for fans to interact more with the music (let alone play some) is a spectacular idear to me.

I’m scared for this one. I know this sounds weird/dumb, but I haven’t liked any of their ‘even number’ albums. Miasma was boring as hell to me. Deflorate was too bland for my tastes as well. In saying all of that, I felt that Ritual was the best album yet, and I can’t help but get my hopes up.

Insanity! Miasma was fucking nuts. Probably my favorite album of their til the latest one.

Nocturnal and Deflorate bored the shit out of me, but the rest are insane, Can’t wait for this one though.

Nah not many of the songs really stood out to me. I didn’t mind the Dissection vibe on Nocturnal, but it just didn’t do anything for me.
