    • I was there and this might have been the best concert I have ever seen. Phish is a great fucking rock band and I think they did Sabbath justice, as silly as it was.

    • Right before this they had synchronized golf carts spinning around on stage, midgets driving mini golf carts, chicks in bikinis and dudes hitting sponge golf balls all around Madison Square Garden. Yes, it was a fucking show.

I saw Phish for the first time way back in 1995. They are one of the greatest collections of musicians ever assembled. Dirty hippies dancing to the sounds of Sabbath. What else could you ask for in this life?

    • These guys pull big crowds because they don’t just cover their material, they seem to go to great lengths to amuse their fans. I saw them in Denver last year and they slipped in a killer version of No Quarter. The year before, every song in their set started with the letter “s”, the encore was Sabotage by the Beastie Boys.

      • I was at the same weekend in Denver this passed year. In the first show of the run, the first letter of every song they played spelled out F.U.C.K.Y.O.U.R.F.A.C.E. Then they proceeded to play their song entitled Fuck Your Face. They really do go above and beyond for their fans which is why people see them so much. I wish more bands kept things as fresh as they do.
