The BBC are reporting that Lostprophets frontman Ian Watkins appeared in court via video link from Parc Prison in Bridgend, South Wales today, December 31st. He and the two female co-defendants involved in the case have been remanded into custody until March 11th on a series of child sex related charges.

Watkins and a 24 year old female who remains unnamed have been charged with conspiracy to engage in sexual activities with two young children; plus charges related to making, downloading and distributing child pornography and accessing bestiality pornography.

The other remaining party in the case—an unnamed 20 year old female—is also facing all of the above charges except for conspiracy to rape. Watkins and the other two defendants have remained in custody for nearly two weeks now since their arrest earlier this month. Watkins‘ lawyer Tom Crowther previously stated that his client plans to deny the charges.
