Ex-Nirvana Members Perform “Cut Me Some Slack” With Sir Paul McCartney On “Saturday Night Live”

The surviving members of Nirvana (Dave Grohl, Krist Novoselic & Pat Smear) once again performed with Sir Paul McCartney last night. The group played their collaborative song (“Cut Me Some Slack“) for Grohl‘s upcoming “Sound City” movie on “Saturday Night Live“.

Footage of the pairing can be found over at As previously reported, the song will appear on the companion soundtrack for the aforementioned film, “Sound City – Real To Reel“.

Paul McCartney rocked it on SNL, I think the performance of Cut Me Some Slack was abbreviated (I was hella drunk so not completely sure), but every song he played was really powerful.

If theres one guy Kurt would be cool with playing in his band, I’m sure it would be Paul. Song didn’t really blow me away, but it was still awesome to see Paul rockin out like that.
