Rage Against The Machine guitarist Tom Morello recently chatted with Billboard.com regarding the groups upcoming November 27th “XX” reissue of their self-titled debut album and more. Sadly Morello mentioned that despite the rumors to the contrary, there are “no plans” for the group beyond the reissue.
When quizzed about similar reissues occuring for other albums in the bands catalog, he replied: “one at a time, man! The good news is that we’ve got time to think about it. I think the next one [“Evil Empire“] came out in ’96, so there’s four years to decide on that.” He went on to add that “there have been a lot of shows recorded professionally, but there are not unreleased songs.”
In other news, the demo version of the bands track “Killing In The Name” which appears on “XX” can be streamed online through Guitarworld.com.
