      • “Colors” was the last good album that label released. Before that? Possibly “Alaska.” Before that? Probably Reach the Sky’s last one, “Friends, Lies and the End of the World,” back in… 2000? 2001?

They’ve been a shitty label for a very, very long time.

        • True. I love what BTBAM put out through victory, as well as what DH put out.

Other than a few other mediocre bands, that’s about all I can think of for the last ten years.

Actually they have released a few good albums in the last few years, they just go unnoticed, or people don’t realize it’s Victory released.

        God Forbid – Equilibrium
Counterparts – The Current Will Carry Us
        Ringworm – Scars
Comeback Kid – Symptoms and Cure (Might be their best)

And I didn’t mind Carnifex’s Hell Chose Me. Sometimes I need something mindlessly heavy that isn’t Acacia Strain.

        • I agree

Ringworm and CBK, DH albums really helped out Victory. Counterparts is amazing as well. let’s not forget Jungle Rot, Pathology, Strife…

but ethos is right for the future….nothing good on the horizon.

The thing I hate about Victory is they have signed many good bands over the years, but give them zero support. Arise and Ruin released I believe 2 vicious albums on that label, and got no backing.

Premonitions of war got no backing. In fact my friend set up a show for them back home once, and Victory just stopped communicating with the band half way through the tour, so they couldn’t get a hold of promoters for their next shows about venues, and times.

Unless you are some shit band like A Day To Remember/Emmure, they don’t care.

      • They signed Fall City Fall this week as well, who are actually pretty good from what I can tell. Victory definitely has it’s bright spots though. Jungle Rot, Wretched, God Forbid, Within The Ruins, and Pathology for instance.

How do I get a dislike for agreeing with a statement that received 3 likes and no dislikes? What kind of backwards math is that?
