Trent Reznor Working With Beats By Dre “On A Number Of Very Interesting Projects”
Trent Reznor (Nine Inch Nails, How To Destroy Angels, etc.) has officially announced that he has been working with the Beats By Dre product line on some new projects.
Reznor took to his Facebook earlier today (October 16th) to offer the following on that:
“Some of you may have read that I have begun working with Beats By Dre. For the past year I have indeed been involved with Dre, Jimmy Iovine, Luke Wood, and the rest of the team on a number of very interesting projects that will start to emerge next year. I have been wanting to experiment and focus my energy and creativity in some different directions, and Beats has afforded me that very opportunity. The process has been challenging and fascinating and as much as I’d like to tell you about the things we’ve dreamed up… I just can’t.

(I can tell you it’s probably not what you’re expecting!)”

Why wouldn’t he get involved with a company that actually values audio over marketing???
Because any company that values audio over marketing isn’t gonna pull a completely marketing-focused move like this to begin with.
So did anyone else not catch the “Beats” in the headline at first and think this meant Dr. Dre was one of Trent’s heroes?

I support any artist who sells out like that. People don’t wanna pay for music and they also want artistic integrity? Come on. You go, Reznor!
