Static-X Drop Off Of Remaining Dates With Emmure & Ill Niño
Static-X have pulled out of their remaining dates with Emmure and Ill Niño due to “necessary medical procedures.” The trek will continue on with Emmure headlining.
The following press release was issued on the matter:
“October 7, 2012 – With much regret, Static-X has been forced to pull off the remaining dates of their 2012 Tour following last nights final show in Flint, MI on Sat, October 6th. Wayne Static must return to Los Angeles and prepare for some medical procedures to remedy problems that have been hampering his performance.
Wayne relays his personal apologies: “I’m so sorry to all my fans but I cant give you the 1000% you deserve from Static-X every night right now. Evil disco will continue in 2013. Just wait until you see whats next!!!”
Emmure and Ill Nino will be continuing on the currently scheduled dates. In a few weeks Static-X have been allowed to perform on local shows in Lancaster, CA on Oct 27 and Ventura, CA on Oct 28.”

The Machine Shop was sold out last night. I procrastinated and didn’t get my tickets in time. Flint is a rough city so I’m sure he got beat up or somebody grabbed his wife’s whore ass, he got jealous and cancelled the rest of the tour.
Flint isn’t a rough city, unless of course you’re from Bloomfield Hills. Its no different than Detroit. This tour wasn’t even worth it. Ill Nino is effectively a Soulfly cover band, Static X hasn’t made a good record for 10 years, and Emmure is too busy trying to be a hardcore Limp Bizkit to even catch my attention.
They should just cancel this tour outright.
Up too late again sweety?
Machine shop isn’t in that bad of an area. been there probably 15 times and never had a problem
I’ve personally never had a problem at the Shop either. The only venue in Michigan I have a problem with is Harpos. The trashiest, piece of shit place ever. A few of us had all our shit stolen with the car being parking right behind the venue. I’m not so sure it wasn’t security who broke in and stole all our shit. We were also kicked out of Harpos for getting into a fight with Red I Flight. Which reminds me, I fucking hate those guys.
*parked
is rehab a medical procedure?
If Wayne brings back Koichi and Mr. Campos and maybe I’ll check out their cheesy music that I use to enjoy.
it was one of the few nice rock concerts in Northwest Arkansas, well don’t care at all, I always have to drive at least 3 hours to see big bands, going to see Deftones on October 20th in Kansas City hell yeah!
