I’d agree with you, only I don’t recognize ANY of those bands. Even worse, only three of the songs being covered are recognizable to me (Girls Just Wanna Have Fun, Billie Jean and Somebody I Use To Know).

Thus, I could give a big fat flying fuck about this comp.

        • I got no problems with Memphis May Fire, WCAR, and Secrets….have seen all three live….there comes a point where music changes and you can either change with it, or become an old fart and hate the younger generations music

      • Are you fucking kidding me? I say earlier that I didn’t know anyone that pretended these bands were punk, then some dude that isn’t even a regular poster breaks that streak immediately after?

        Well, fuck me.

Of course we know they’re covers. They’re basically pop bands covering pop bands. In terms of structure and talent, they’re roughly equivalent to the worse side of modern pop.

      • ………. you serious? Aside from the fact that most are popular songs and the story, you know, lists the original artist followed by the word “cover” and all.
