    • I figured Randy’s legal troubles would keep them from making it up to Canada. Oh well, time to dust off the old passport. USA here I come…and before November 17th, cause there’s no way I’m paying money to hear HellYeah perform their hit song HellYeah from their debut album HellYeah.

In Flames should have thrown in the towel like 10 years ago. They went from being awesome to god awful in a few months time. How does that happen? Usually if a band sucks, they suck from the beginning. Like Hellyeah.

I still enjoy them quite a bit. After initially being disappointed with their output on RtR and StYE, I’ve grown to accept it for what it is. They have certainly softened through the past 10 years, but the guitar work is still pretty cool.

      • I like everything In Flames has done with the exception of the last two albums. I didn’t hate either effort but they didn’t really do anything for me either. I don’t see any reason why I wouldn’t still enjoy them live though.

The reason Hellyeah isn’t playing the show in Columbus is because he’s a baby. He apparently still thinks that the city murdered his brother.

I’m very sorry, but for the life of me, I can’t see what anyone sees in Hatebreed or Lamb of God. It’s so damn cliche. Hatebreed is nothing more than a collection of Slayer riffs from twenty years ago. Lamb of God have never done it for me. They have always come across as a Pantera-pretender and they don’t succeed. Anyone who wants to enjoy it, be my guest, but I’ll music that hasn’t been regurgitated time and time again.

And yes, I understand that hating In Flames is easier on this site than hating the damn Taliban. Yes, I know, they’re last ten years of work isn’t up to your liking. Oh the fuck well. I love Reroute. I love Soundtrack. Come Clarity is just ok. Purpose and Playground are for the most part let downs but there are definitely places I get excited on the album.

And rant mode, I really don’t feel like hearing a bunch of inbred metal heads bitch and moan about the justice system of a country they probably couldn’t find on a map. As a whole, metal heads at a show deserve the negative stereotypes that are attached to them. Hatebreed and LoG fans are certainly at the top of my list for the most obnoxious fan base I’ve seen at a show. The difference between a Juggalo and a LoG fan in my book is simply what’s in the CD player.

I’m with you on that man. Back in the day however I think both Hatebreed and LOG kicked ass. The live energy both of those bands had was definitely what propelled them into the mainstream. I remember seeing LOG play at a place called the Birch Hill in Old Bridge, NJ after they released NAG. Randy was a rabid beast at that show. Definitely opened my eyes to them. Couldn’t give a shit now though.

That said, I feel the same way about Machine Head too. Never understood the hype.

You aren’t paying attention. I’m not naive enough to compare LoG and ICP. What I am doing is comparing their typical fan base. To me, there really isn’t a difference. Ever since I heard a bunch of dumb-fuck white trash LoG fans yelling for Opeth to quit playing such “fag music and get off the fucking stage,” I have lost any respect possible for the fans.

        • You can’t judge a band by their fans. I personally love Opeth. And Lamb Of God. There’re idiots in every fanbase. You have a right to like In Flames and dislike LOG, Hatebreed, etc, as much as a Lamb of God fan has the right to dislike In Flames. Saying Lamb of God fans are like juggalo’s is as ignorant as me saying all In Flames fans are Nightwish lovers cause they’re from the same country. It’s all words, but don’t stereo-type fans because you don’t like a band. I personally think In Flames are great live performers but horrible song-writers. I’m not ripping on your fanbase’s right to enjoy them.

    • I would obviously rather have Hatebreed than Hellyeah but I’ll probably go to this anyways because I generally have a positive opinion of LoG and In Flames and the show is practically in my backyard. There should be 45 minutes or so of short lines at the bar and the pisser during Hellyeah’s set, which is also something to look forward to because the Orbit Room tends to oversell shows. A beer and a piss in between sets is almost an impossible feat when that place sells out.
