        • AAF was a great band back in the day. Everything after Truant was garbage but Anthology was great and Truant was pretty decent. I’m just not a fan of Converge. Like I said before I don’t respect bands just because they’ve been around for a long time. Same being said for gwar & Rammstein. A few bands that I dislike and never will like.

Who said anything about them being around for a long time, as a reason to like them?

The main reason most people like Converge is cause they push the boundaries, and they don’t follow anyone. They are just Converge. That is it. With each reason Converge cement their legacy as the greatest band of their genre. I remember the first time I had heard Jane Doe, I thought they could never be better then that, and yet with each new album they just keep pushing and pushing.

Converge aren’t fake, and don’t try to be the best, it just comes out that way. And that’s what tends to push people towards them.

        • So I guess me and the other 1,000,000+ people didn’t think they were a very good band either eh?

That’s your argument? So you must be a Limp Bizkit and Nickleback fan as well due to the sales?

        • Whoa whoa whoa. Hey now, don’t ever classify me as that. I’ll rip your spine in half, Sub-Zero style.

        • Indeed. On a side note, I would bang his skater girl fiance Avril Lavigne without hesitation.

        • I’m actually a fan of ANThology and truANT (note the ANT in the names! crazy!), those albums are actually good. If you could look past the “Smooth Criminal” cover.

On a side note kturl69 you have to lose the toe, I was checking out theprp during lunch and lost my appetite. That shit is disgusting.

        • Will Hunt is a really skilled drummer. Skrape was a really good live band 12 years ago. They bring back memories of when bands like Endo, 40 Below Summer & Motograter were kicking ass in the nu-metal era.

        • Hell yes. I saw him when he was with Dark New Day. I purchased there debut album thinking it would be good. Big let down but he still kicked ass at the show.

        • Saw the dude on Conan a while back with Evanescence. The dude laid some kick ass shit down, especially for it being an Evanescence song. His stage presence is on point.

O R we talkin’ ’bout Will Hunt now?

I saw him drumming for Static-X back in 2009. Opening for BLS and Mudvayne.

          Guy’s pretty solid.

        • Wahhhh! I likes that they are not pretentious and tour with good support acts at a reasonable price and appear to throw themselves into whatever they do. I may not fully appreciate their music but I respect them and enjoy their concerts.

    • How could anyone speak such blasphemy about this band? Theyve been around 20+ years and are spitting out original albums and work STILL. Already got the preorder for this and seeing them oct 15…..EPIC.
