      • No, they are not turning into TheMV. TheMV sucks, PTH do not. March 2011 it was released, that was a year and a half ago. If they’re in pre-pro right now it wont be out for another 6-9 months.

Besides, there’s not a damn thing wrong with releasing albums a year and a half to two years apart as long as you’re nailing it every time like these guys are.

        • You’re right, dude. While I’m not a fan of TMV I can respect their efforts and music because it’s different than most shit. Back to the matter at hand…Protest The Heezy rules.

I love TMV on album, but their live performances always leave something to be desired (this is my opinion, don’t get your panties in a tizzy).

The album will probably come out early 2013. Their last album (Scurrilous) came out in early 2011. Two years between albums is pretty standard.

    • I wonder if we can see this before the end of the year? Either I am getting too old and don’t talk to the scenester fucks anymore, or Scurrilous was way under the radar, i dont hear anyone mention it. CD is killer. New BTBAM almost here, news of a new PTH and hopefully sometimes a new Holy Grail before the year closes makes this guy a happy guy…that and blowjobs

      • Holy fucking Grail, dude! Talked with Tyler and Eli from Holy Grail at their Dallas show a couple months ago and the new album should be released in November. They played a couple new songs at the show at the were insanely better than anything on “Crisis In Eutopia”. Fuck yeah, man.

I love PTH, always excited to hear about new stuff. I bought Scurrilous and have tried to listen to it many times. While I admit it’s a very talented production, it has yet to really grab me and make me want to listen to it. I’ll pop it in again today, sometimes it’s just got to be the right time. And I’ll admit, I was bummed out at the no screaming. One of the things I love about Rody is his versatility. I think his lack of screaming on the album just made it a little monotonous for me.

Listen again, it’s an amazing album. There isn’t really any screaming, as you said, but it is still full of anger and passion. It’s just a more mature and evolved release. It is without a doubt my favorite PTH album.

        • I understand what MediaProphet is getting at, but I think it was a phenomenal album. Personally, I liked Fortress better. I just wish it had the production “Scurrilous” has.

      • Couldn’t agree more. PTH has been one of my favorite bands since Kezia dropped., but Scurrilous just didn’t stick with me. The lack of aggression definitely had something to do with it. I’m excited to hear what the next album sounds like, I just hope it has more staying power.
