I was at the Rosemont, IL show last night and got some video right when Chino came on stage. The audio is really bassy because I was pretty close to the monitors.
It was pretty cool to see though.
Most surprising thing of all was seeing Serj and Daron hug after the show.
But are they playing Mein together during the Deftone’s set? I know, probably not, but they really need to stop snubbing that album. So underrated.
Nope. I like that song. It’s funny how so many people want to bury that album. It wasn’t their best but it was a decent rock record.
Who the fuck wants to bury that album? Man, some of my favorite shit is on there. “Combat” and “Hole In The Earth” are the shit, and fuckin’ “Kimdracula” is literally my favorite Deftones song.
i don’t want to bury the album, Mein on the other hand… It’s a horrible song. and i blame serj.
Not saying anyone on here, but TONS of people I know hate on that record a lot. I enjoy it a lot. Cherry Waves and Kimdracula are ridiculously good.
Concert might have been in Chicago, but the show was filmed from Wisconsin.

i had the privilege of seeing them on the 9th at mansfield mass comcast center, deftones are one of my top five bands but beyond that, the show was great, system of a down put on a great show. the only criticism i had was that they didnt do an encore. i payed 73 dollars for my seats and what not but either way ive been to a lot of ”big” shows and theres always an encore. besides that, it was a great show seeing them 2 bands together cus im pretty sure we will never see them two bands together again
They played like 25 fucking songs. Would it made it better if they left the stage for 10 minutes before the 24th and 25th songs? Maybe if they played a 10 song set you can complain about an encore, but jeez.
Planned encores for shows like that feel so contrived. The band leaves the stage, and people are yelling their name HOPING they come back out, saying OMG they didn’t play “insert hit song here”. Let me ask you a question, did the house lights come on? No? Then they are coming back on.
I have seen some spur of the moment encores though, those are awesome. But planned ones? Ick
I couldn’t make the Pine Knob show for a couple different reasons. I was pissed about it at first and then got over it. The wound has been reopened.
Shit looked sick though. I’m jealous.

Why would a company that has a monopoly in the region purchase the naming rights to a music venue anyways? It’s not like they need to advertise. I can’t buy my natural gas from anyone else.
