More footage of Trivium frontman Matt Heafy‘s solo acoustic show in New York City, NY this past Monday, August 13th, has arrived online. The footage captures the whole set, including his covers of Elvis Presley, Roy Orbison, Nine Inch Nails and Opeth. You can watch it all over at Metalinjection.net.
Apparently he gained 50 pounds of muscle after he started to lift.

Harvest sounds like shit fast. The chorus line sounds too dissonant…. it doesn’t make sense without the pronounced chord progressions.
You’re seriously tearing apart an attempt at an acoustic rendition of an Opeth song that’s being played for a charitable cause? It’s not like it sucks. He’s just having some fun and playing material he enjoys.
