Underoath have an as-yet untitled best of release on deck for an October 23rd release date through Solid State/Tooth & Nail. It is more than likely that the two new songs the band recently recorded will wind up on the effort. More details on the collection have yet to be revealed.

funny, but I thought some songs on define the great line were good enough to make into most artist’s greatest hits. tocs is kinda overrated for me

Maybe it’s the obligatory “make a greatest hits album to get out of our record contract” album.
I always thought Underoath got a bad rap from most of the people here. I think they’re awesome. And while I like “They’re Only Chasing Safety”, the three albums released after it are all better in my opinion. “Lost in the Sound of Separation” being their best. I was curious to hear what they would sound like without Aaron Gillespie, and to be honest they may be a better band. Davidson is a better drummer and the vocals aren’t lacking that much. “Disambiguation” is pretty tight.
