Stone Sour (Slipknot) are now streaming full versions of the first two tracks from their upcoming album “House Of Gold And Bones: Part 1“. You can check out “Gone Sovereign” and “Absolute Zero” at Houseofgoldandbones.com. The aforementioned album is expected to surface through Roadrunner in October with the second companion album due out sometime next year.
This is pretty legit, there's got to be a Detroit date in there because they've been hitting GR lately.

I expected worse. It won’t be nearly enough to turn me into a fan but those two tracks probably sound better than anything I’ve heard from this band since their 1st album.
Yea, I agree. They aren’t bad, but…There is plenty of other better bands out there.
I mostly think they’re bad. I expected complete shit but the songs were average. The lyrics didn’t jump out as being particularly bad and Taylor attempted to scream. I’ve definitely heard worse from them. Just trying to put a positive spin on it.
