Palms (Deftones, Ex-Isis) Debut Expected In 2013
The debut offering from Palms—the outfit featuring Deftones‘ Chino Moreno and ex-Isis members Aaron Harris, Jeff Caxide and Bryant Clifford Meyer—won’t surface until 2013 via Ipecac Recordings.
A recent update from Harris confirmed that the music for the effort has been completed and the group are just waiting for Moreno to get time to lay down the vocals.

The biggest issue I have with him being the vocalist, by far. The better band (assuming) gets put on the back burner for the bigger band.
Did you really just refer to Palms — a group we’ve heard NOTHING from yet — as a superior band to Deftones? he asked with his arms crossed, angrily waiting for a logical response.
Isis is superios to Deftones, so Palms must be too.

ok?? If Plams goes for that melodic atmospheric sound then Chino is perfect for this band. I cant say how I feel about this comment being that there is no real song completed for us to hear.
