    • I disagree with this statement. As much respect as I have for Haake, those sound like the words of someone who feels a bit embarrassed to listen to/like dubstep.

I remember back when True Human Design came out and people bitched about the last 2 tracks on the disc. “Fuck that techno shit, it’s not even Meshuggah.” They are no strangers to remixing songs in an unpopular(with Metal fans) form. Now 15 years later, here’s the same shit all over again. Message boards with casual Meshuggah fans focusing on one song featuring a form of music they hate. History repeats…. If they follow with this trend, we should expect “Chaosphere 2″ for the next release.

I’m just saying that if you go to a metal show, its only 25% females in attendance. 90% of those are clinging to their boyfriends. You go to a club and its 75% women. If I had to pick my music at this club I would be begging for dubstep, otherwise I would end up with m’bop.

there’s no I in team, however if it means that Together Everybody Achieves More, and there is an I in achieves, it could be construed that there is and I in team.

now that’s irrelevant. and wurst don’t hate a nigga cuz he frequents something other than this webpage.

all i know is that i know nothing

I completely agree with the guy. some dubstep can be super aggressive and heavy. check out guided relaxation by borgore. When I listen to it I can’t help but wonder how heavy it could actually be if it was recorded with downtuned guitars and double bass drums. the remixed meshuggah stuff sounds rad, good for them for not being afraid to piss some purists off by stepping out of their comfort zone.
