A few things…1) Notice how Ozzy isn’t seemingly reading from a teleprompter on the floor anymore? I looked as hard as I could for him sneaking glances and found none. He didn’t stumble through anything. He’s somehow in the best mental shape he’s been in in the last 30 years, if not longer.
2) Ozzy’s voice, while not quite up to par with the Birmingham show, is still pretty damn solid given how he’s sounded in the past.
3) Got to feel good for Tony getting to play gigs and hopefully getting his mind off of the issues he’s dealing with. I know Bill’s still out but they still sound pretty tight as a group.
Ozzy doesn’t need a teleprompter to phone-in Paranoid or Iron Man. Even kids who know nothing of Sabbath know that shit by heart by now.
War fucking pigs
watched the dvd that comes with the 30 year box set recently and was amazed that he knew the lyrics to Revelation (Mother Earth) off the top of his head. he’s at his best when you catch him at the beginning of a tour, when he gets half way through you notice a big time difference.
The Osbourne show was the worst thing that could ever happen to his mystique, whenever I see him I picture him drooling on his self or struggling with the remote.
you know that was because he was on 42 pills a day when he should have been on 2, right? RIGHT?
God damnit, I should’ve gone. Oh well, next time they’re in a six hour radius I’m there.
