Fukn sic!
Reminds me a little of that song Two Sides by Clawfinger.
I’ll be damned, this is awesome. Gotta love some good ol fashion creativity.
It was cool until the white guy stepped in. There isn’t anything cool about a white dude trying to rap. Other than that, I’d jam this.
Never thought I’d be giving you a thumbs up, but you hit the nail on the head this time. Not just the rapping, but totally ripping off the hand gestures, posturing, articulation, etc always makes me think “too bad, yet another band that could not land a decent vocalist”.
Why so many thumbs down? This band would be approximately 2.7x better if it was exclusively the black guy on vocals, his flow destroys the other guy.
Watch out Meshuggah, you are on notice.
Here we go……throw in a little The Browning on back-track keys…and poof! winner-winner chicken dinner
this might actually catch on… i can’t wait for the onslaught of bands that sound the exact same
I dont see how Rap/Rock or Rap/Metal will ever be “cool” again. We went through it once and, in hindsight, we all see how much it sucked.
Like Randy Blythe would say “IT’S ALL FUCKING METAL THIS DJENT BULLCRAP ISN’T ORIGINAL” It’s just the fusion of a sub genre of metal and rap, not to mention nobody knows who they are yet, I’ll pass.
No, Randy Blythe would say “Help! I’m stuck in jail in the Czech Republic!”
sorry would’ve my bad.
why wasnt this titled rap/crap or rap metal? Djent isnt a genre…its a made up word from a band. So any band that palm mutes is djent? Come on wook…get it together baby. It’s all in the hipsss!
Djenter’s Delight by Meshuggah Hill Gang
Fuckin’ nice (:
hahaha
Diddy’s contacting his attourneys for the “Bad boys lyricist..” rhyme.
Stale lyrics, but less than songs regurgitating foreign cars, $, and herpes sluts that I’ve heard.
Candiria dood.
Reminds me of older Ces Cru with metal music. It’s a alright song, kind of get repetitive though.
this sound has about a year before its almost tolerable, and two years before its totally unbearable.
Really? You guys all like this huh? I guess I’ll give it another chance but I didn’t think the vocals mixed well at all.
the thing is that djent really hasn’t mixed well with any vocal style, sans a certain Jens Kidman. I actually thought it mixed better than most vocal styles used in djent, making up for the fact the djent and rap sides of this crossover aren’t too good by themselves.
disclaimer: I don’t recognize djent as a genre.
I admit I came here expecting to smile at how pathetic it would be and get out swiftly.
Nope. This is good shit.
Yeah…I’ll take the instrumental album if they have one. Speaking of…what happened to Periphery releasing an instrumental this time around? Shit slams. I’m just too particular with vocals. It’s essentially another instrument, and if it doesn’t mix, it fucks everything up for me.
Excellent music otherwise.
Periphery vox make my balls shrivel up, too dude.
I don’t mind them actually. His hyperactive-ness is catchy. II is a cool album instrumentally. So layered and textured.
Almost as good as Design the Skyline. Ahem, Design the Eyeliner**
I know I’m supposed to laugh at this… but this song slams.
