This is nice. Usually we have to hear new Deftones tunes via shitty bootlegs, but the quality of this is quite good. I knew I loved the song just from the opening notes and now my appetite for a new Deftones album has just quadrupled.

Near audio perfection from the Deftones as always. I’m surprised at how good the quality was this time around. The first live bootleg of Rocket Skates sounded like it was recorded in a tunnel with a Walkman from the early 80s. So ready for the album to drop now.

Deftones fans just don’t know how to bootleg, but yeah, this one is better quality than I expected. Cool textures and vibes throughout the song.

What if this is from Eros?

Ugh I love the Deftones, but this new song sounds like something off Saturday Night Wrist, and that’s my least favorite album.

Some parts had that SNW ambiance but all in all, much more dynamic. That groove at 4:30 is fucking killer. Can’t wait to hear how it sounds on the album.

I’ll probably dig it more once I hear the album as well, or atleast I hope so.

    • Sounds like more of the same uninspired garbage they’ve been pumping out since Saturday Night Wrist. Fanboys on this site are in a tizzy right now b/c of that comment too, even funnier.

Wait. Did you just comment on the reactions to your post while you were posting it?

Anyways, I doubt many will be in a tizzy over your criticism of a song that was being performed live for the first time that anyone has yet to hear a studio recording of. You’ll have to try harder than “uninspired garbage” if you really want to illicit an angry response. When I read that, I just felt bad for you more than anything.
