Lamb Of God & Dethklok To Miss “Knotfest”, Replacements To Be Announced
The fallout from Lamb Of God‘s frontman Randy Blythe‘s latest bail being denied continues. Following the announcement of Lamb Of God having to cancel their planned summer tour and “Heavy MTL” and “Heavy T.O.” appearances; comes word they (and their originally intended tourmates Dethklok) will also miss the Slipknot-curated “Knotfest“.
The following update was posted on Slipknot‘s Twitter regarding that today:
“We are saddened that Lamb of God & Dethklok will not be performing @KNOTFEST. Our thoughts & support are w/ Randy Blythe and the LOG family. We will be announcing replacement artists imminently. FREE RANDY! #freerandyblythe”
This years “Knotfest” will feature performances from Slipknot, Deftones, Serj Tankian, Prong, The Urge and more. Two seperate events with differing bills will take place as follows:
08/17 Pacific Junction, IA – Mid America Motorplex
08/18 Somerset, WI – Somerset Amphitheater
