New Trailer Released For Dave Grohl’s “Sound City” Documentary
A new trailer has been released for “Sound City“, the upcoming documentary being put together by Foo Fighters vocalist/guitarist Dave Grohl. The effort centers around the now defunct Sound City Studios, which closed in May of 2011.
In particular, the feature focuses on equipment from the studio, which a number of legendary albums were tracked on, including those from the likes of Nirvana, Rage Against The Machine, Slayer and many more.
In addition to the film, Grohl has been working on new songs using the equipment itself. Artists announced to have participated thus far include Slipknot‘s Corey Taylor, Cheap Trick‘s Rick Nielsen, Butch Vig, Stephen Pearcy and Warren DeMartini of Ratt and Kevin Cronin of REO Speedwagon.
