Vision Of Disorder Detail New Album “The Cursed Remain Cursed”

Vision Of Disorder have unveiled both the cover art and track listing for their upcoming new album “The Cursed Remain Cursed“. The effort is slated to receive a September 18th release date on Candlelight Records with band guitarist Matt Baumbach offering:

“In my opinion The Cursed Remain Cursed is our band’s finest achievement. We are proud to have written something that represents the next level of VOD. It is never easy to make one of our records; it’s long, arduous, and at times maniacal. This record bleeds from the band’s heart and it survived hell and back to get here. Roll the dice one more time because we are all in with this one.”

    • I pray that this album is more “Imprint” and “For The Bleeders” than it is “From Bliss To Devastation”, though the ‘z’ in “Skullz Out” scares me. Sounds like a GOTJ second-stager.

      • Those are my two least favorite albums of their’s. Imprint just felt incomplete, too rushed, partially ad-libbed and For the Bleeders was nothing but re-recorded demos, most have which should have stayed that way.

The self-titled is what introduced them to me and is almost always my go-to when I want to listen to them (I still remember going to a Best Buy and getting Neurosis’ “Through Silver in Blood” and VOD’s self-titled album at an Ozzfest 1996 or 1997 kiosk. Have been in love with both since.), but Bliss to Devastation is incredible.

    • I came on board with this band with From Bliss To Devastation and kind of discovered their catalog backwards. I dug that album and still listen to a couple songs off of it from time to time. That said, I guess I’m the only person that liked Bloodsimple. But I though that first album was awesome, and the second one was a little… weird. But it had some killer moments.
