Static-X frontman Wayne Static has spilled the beans on the lineup for the bands upcoming summer tour. Rather unsurprisingly, Static will be supported by the same musicians who backed him during his recent solo touring.
They include Ashes on guitar, Brent Ashley on bass and Sean “Animal” Everett on drums. Static shared some more details on the bands upcoming tour, his relationship with Tony Campos and more with Loudwire.
This is pretty legit, there's got to be a Detroit date in there because they've been hitting GR lately.

Unsurprisingly, there’s simply more money to be made touring under the title of Static-X than touring under the header of “Wayne Static’s Solo Show That Plays 90% Static-X Songs”.
Exactly. I wonder how the “actual” Static-X feels about this…
I’m sure there are reasons, but I never understood why any front man who is 90% of the band anyway, would embark on a “solo” tour or career for that matter.
So instead of another Static-X album no one cares about.. it’s a Wayne Static album no one likes.
So it’s not really Static-X.. it’s Wayne Static and his solo band doing Static X songs like Sam Eagle said.
