Lamb Of God’s Randy Blythe Arrested On Manslaughter Charges In Prague, CZE (Updated)

Lamb Of God frontman Randy Blythe has allegedly been arrested in Prague, CZE on charges of manslaughter. According to Novinky.cz, Blythe was detained today, June 28th, for a 2010 incident which allegedly saw Bythe get into a physical atercation at a May 24th, 2010 show. The other party in the incident apparently later succumbed to his injuries.

Metal Sucks have since gotten word from a band spokesperson that Blythe has been “wrongly accused” and that his legal team expect him to be “fully exonerated.”

Update – June 28th 6:38pm:

Lamb Of God‘s official Twitter has now been updated with the simple hashtag “#FreeRandyBlythe”

      WAIT A MINUTE!
The guy who got his own ass handed to him in his band’s DVD is actually out violently beating people to death?
      Never read that tweet!

Anybody can kill someone. If you mean that Randy couldn’t kick someones ass to death, I would agree with that. Then again, I know absolutely nothing about him beyond his music and tweet history. Seems like a puss to me!

I am czech and am seriously bummed by this. There was an accident yeah and someone died however the details are still pretty unclear. What pisses me off though is that in our media they say it was a murder which it wasn’t

Just out of curiosity, how rough are the prisons in your native land? Is Randy destined for some serious cornholing while he awaits trial?

The dude has annoyed me beyond belief with his rants, but I’d hate to see him do any length of time in a foreign prison.

Well mediocre rough I think. Not as classy as perhaps Norway but maybe possibly a bit better thank in the US although it depends on the prison he would be sent to. However should he be found guilty I think a lot of fans here would go on a protest. I hope the guys from LoG won’t change their opinion on our country because of this because of our scumbag system it would be a real shame for their fans here should they not come after this.

        • They never said he was being charged with murder, they said manslaughter. It’s two different things. Basically, murder is intentional and you will see jail time unless you’re OJ. Manslaughter is unintentional and if you have a good lawyer its probation an no jail time. He’ll probably just be banned from CZE for 20 years and the family gets 25 grand in punitive damages.

    • Nah Nah Nah nah hey hey hey , GoodBlythe. Hopefully Prague doesn’t allow any internet access in it’s correctional facilities. I’m also sure if he’s found guilty and sentenced, Randall will send in a lengthy ryder with all sorts of ridiculous demands to the prison before his arrival.

But at least I am no murderer, Mr. Farts.

On a serious note though, lets hope that whatever kind of “legal team” he has behind him can deal with this mess. Can’t be cheap to have that kind of defense though. I bet their label has lawyers for shit like this.

I mean Christ, Vince Neil killed a man and he only did 30 days.

Read the link. Thanks to google’s translate it reads like broken english from the italian dude on The Simpsons. Arrested for a murder in 2010? Just dying now? Um, all for bashing the mother fucker for his rants but this doesn’t really make sense. Am I missing link or something? I am a few beers and a bit of Bookers deep.

Thats probably because a machine is translating it.

Where does it say the guy just died? All I can get is he died, and Blythe was just arrested. Perhaps they waited until they had evidence, and LOG came back to Prague? I could be wrong, but I’d assume thats what happened.

    • All you dudes on here saying Randy murdered someone, blah bah, this and that don’t even know what happened. There is no back story to read so you dont even know what happened. You are a bunch of ignorant, sheep motherfuckers. The only “story” we the public have is that some dude got onstage two years ago, they got into an “atercation” and now the dude died of said “injuries”.

To me, it sounds like a bunch of bullshit false charges by that guy’s family who are trying to get some dough in a settlement. However he died was in no way related to their “altercation”, although this more than likely poverty-stricken family says it is. If there was an altercation that was serious enough to cause injuries that would later kill this man, Blythe would have been arrested two years ago. Get a brain, you idiots.

        • Yes, specifically you, motherfucker. Apparently a single headline and two sentences that explain no back story were enough for you to determine that knew you exactly what happened and that Blythe is a murderer.

You’re the perfect example of the brainless sheep in this world that read something in print or see it on the news and immediate take it at face value. I seriously hope one day you are put in this exact position.

Wurst, go fuck yourself. With all of the bullshit you have spewed onto this board in the passed few months you have made a douche of yourself many times over. I’d say 95% of the time you don’t contribute anything to the discussion either. It would have done my brain a service to not have read anything you have ever written on here.

This is a message board. You know nothing about me to be calling me a pussy. But go ahead. You’re a pussy too….. and your mom has balls.

And on second thought, I took nothing at face value. I was merely making a joke about this stupid story. I don’t know if Randy Blythe is guilty, and frankly it doesn’t matter one ass hair to me whether he is or not.

And no, I don’t think he should be executed. Although his band made better music 10 years ago, so that wouldn’t really make an ounce of difference to me either.

Stop taking posts on theprp at face value jackass. Isn’t that what you just accused me of?

Since when do victim’s families get to charge people with crimes? If they wanted a settlement he would be getting sued, not arrested.

Thumb up 0 Thumb down 0
        • avatar

        • Well, lets see….By pursuing manslaughter charges they realize that will put his balls to wall big time, more so than just suing him. They know they can get big money with an out of court settlement because LoG doesnt need bad publicity and/or their singer rotting in a foreign prison. In their eyes, LoG is probably this massive juggernaut of a band and they makes ten of millions a year so they figure they can strike it rich.

My prediction: Randy will get a 10 year ban/probation from CZE and will pay $25k in punitive damages.

From what I heard the guy rushed the stage and Randy and Randy just
pushed and/or punched him away and he fell and hit his head or something.

I guess the investigation will show what really happened.
If he’s guilty he’s probably gonna get 5 years or something, they don’t have the
death penalty in CZE like the US (and a few other countries).

      I’m thinking he’ll walk… But we’ll see….

      • Like I said before, if there was an altercation that was serious enough to cause serious bodily injury or injuries that would later kill this man, Blythe would have been arrested over two years ago.” He may be detained up to a month while this is sorted out but Blythe will not do any time.

The only bad thing is that when he gets out and gets his hands on his smart phone or a laptop he is gonna blow the fuck out of the blogs and Twitter.

        • Where the hell are you seeing “14 days” anywhere? There are extradition laws, you know? If you think he is truly to blame then why has it taken over two years to press charges? This is the first time they’ve played Prague or a nearby country since this alleged event. Besides, who’s to say said “altercation” even took place?

I don’t care one way or another but the country that wants to extradite someone has to pay the cost associated with that. It’s entirely possible CZE didn’t feel it was worth it for a manslaughter charge and were just waiting for them to come back to arrest him.

    • In other news, President Barack “Brobamacore” Obama has dispatched SEAL Team 6 to retrieve Blythe from Czech custody. The President was unavailable for comment following the decision, but officials inside the White House have simply responded with, “We don’t negotiate with terrorists.” Vice President Joe Biden followed with, “New American Gospel was the fucking tittieballs. Let’s bring our boy home.”

Awesome amount of log puns…..but even if he did die 2 years later is it that hard to believe it could be related? i mean look at chi (hope he can walk someday) hes been in a coma for how long? maybe the same thing happened to this dude the problem with the situation is that when someone passes there is someone to blame i wouldnt think it would be randy unless the dude was just going to jump back into the crowd and hit hit him from behind… if the dude was trying to grab him or mess with the set to a musicain that is like starting a fight. hopefully things work out but i think security is the ones to blame.

Not sure I understand your analogy. What does the guy dying two years after a purported ass-kicking have to do with Chi being in a coma for any amount of time? In terms of relation, I mean.

i mean if the dude was in a coma he could of been in that state for 2 years and then died cause of his injurys i was using chi as an example that people can be in deep comas for that amount of time
