Ex-Coheed And Cambria Bassist Michael Todd Sentenced In Drug Store Holdup
Former Coheed And Cambria bassist Michael Todd has pled guilty to the charges stemming from the armed robbery he was involved in last July. Todd held up an Attleboro, MA pharmacy for several bottles of Oxycontin in the incident while then on tour with the band.
According to thesunchronicle.com, Todd has been sentenced to one year of home confinement, along with three years probation. He must also continue drug treatment and is subject to random screenings. According to the article, Todd has also reportedly been diagnosed with cancer, though no further details were disclosed.

i feel the same as the other comments really.. i read that thinking “damn he got off light” but then the cancer diagnosis is tossed in and suddenly i just feel sorry for the guy.
Definitely sucks, he is an insane bassist, hope he gets his act together and comes back. Eppard cleaned up and got his gig back. All the best, it’s a tough disease to beat, but it can be done.
let me start by saying i live in springfield mass and i went and saw coheed with soundgarden at the mohegan sun arena the day or maybe 2 days before mike todd did what he did about holding up a walgreens in attleboro, mass. i am a unbelievably huge coheed fan but i will say this, growing up and seeing a lot of people fuck up on prescription drugs, they always carry a way heaftier sentence then todd got. and the whole cancer thing, so what, my fiancee has had cancer twice now and get through it, what makes mike todd special?and it is by far not the first time hes done this, even on record.so let me digress, i love coheed, but what the state of mass let him off with is bullshit, hes a fucking junkie and should be treated as such, if it was any of us, we would be locked up before we could blink
