The fucking Silverdome? It seats 80,000 and that’s not including the floor. I’ll likely be there but shit, they better have a couple other big names with them or they’ll be playing in a venue at 25% capacity.

Hahaha I was thinking the same god damn thing. When I saw them in Houston they didn’t even sell out half of the pavilion… maybe it’s some kind of new amazing festival that we will be a part of. I’m there 100%

A fest would be awesome but I bet STP’s management just got a sick deal on the place. The SIlverdome calendar is bare and I’m sure the guy that bought it is just thrilled they booked something other than a professional ultimate frisbee game (go Detroit Mechanix?)

My vote is for an STP, Soundgarden, AIC and Pearl Jam fest. Matt Cameron’s arms would get tired but fuck it, I bet two big ass paychecks for one days work would make up for it. I would do unspeakable things to see that lineup

Thanks to my handy-dandy concert calendar I see that Cinderella and Sebastian Bach are playing DTE on August 18th – but this date would work out very well for me. Considering it’s a Saturday I hope it is some kind of festival.

http://www.motorsandmusicexperience.com/info.html I was right, it is a festival. STP, Ice T (with Coco!), Chiodos, Howling Diablos, Dirty Americans, Trick Trick, Shiny Toy Guns, etc. Not as good as I had hoped for, but for $35 GA I’m there 100%.
