      • Yea same here. Def one of the earlier CD’s I bought. Metallica’s black album was my first, if I recall accurately. And then Megadeth’s Countdown to Extinction was soon after. The transition from cassette to CD back then was a pretty exciting time…but wallet draining as well, lol.

First cd I ever purchased was at Harmony House and it was Ride the Lightening. Then I remember going back and getting Green Day’s Nimrod, Metallica’s Load & Garage Inc. I also recall purchasing Coal Chambers debut and also Kid Rock’s Devil Without A Cause. Miss my old disk man with the anti-shock & bass buttons.

I know my first five – Aerosmith – Get a Grip & Permanent Vacation, ZZ Top – Greatest Hits, Soundgarden – Superunknown, and AC/DC – Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap. Then a whole bunch of Jock Jams.

By far their best album. Crackerman = STP’s best song evah. Shangri-La Dee Da is easily the weakest, but I still cherish them all as if they were my own.
