First Annual “Mayhem Festival Cruise” Officially Announced
The first annual “Mayhem Festival Cruise” has been announced and will set sail from Miami, FL to the Bahamas on December 07th. The cruise will return to the mainland on December 10th and feature 90 minute sets from the following artists:
Lamb Of God
Machine Head
Anthrax
Hatebreed
Suicide Silence
Kingdom Of Sorrow
Other bands set to perform on the cruise, which will be hosted by Jose Mangin of “Liquid Metal” fame, include:
Gojira
Periphery
Born Of Osiris
Battlecross
Otherwise
Girl On Fire
Anti Mortem
Gypshawk
Korn frontman Jonthan “JDevil” Davis and Slipknot‘s Sid “DJ Starscream” Wilson will also perform full DJ sets each night of the cruise. Furthermore, Slipknot percussionist M. Shawn “Clown” Crahan will curate Fangoria’s Video Nasties Film Festival“.
Comedians Big Jay Oakerson and The Legions Of Skank featuring Luiz J Gomez and Dave Smith will deliver stand up sets each night, while, “neo-burlesque dance troupe” Iron Fist Velvet Glove Carnal Review will also perform.

Sounds like a cool idea. They got it right with Gojira, but should have gone with other “water” bands such as The Ocean, Mastodon, Pelican and of course Isis if they were still around. I’d be totally okay with getting sea sick to Oceanic or Leviathan.
