That was good. Very dark and eerie.

the song works well for the video, but on its own it’s pretty fucking boring. hopefully akerfeldt gets this trippy jam band bullshit out of his system and goes back to some semblance of the music he used to make. if he’s done doing hard music, fine, but he’s capable of better shit than this.

Go chug a Red Bull and listen to Deliverance on repeat

I thoroughly enjoyed this. Who needs CGI? I don’t know how often I’d listen to the song alone, but with the video, it’s just great. A short film, really. I’d like to see Storm Corrosion do a sit-down theatre tour with visuals like this throughout.

I don’t know if I would have sat through the whole song otherwise, but there are some cool video techniques and I wanted to make sure that the preacher got what was coming to him.

agreed, i don’t think i would ever just sit and listen to that song by itself….but with the video, excellent.

I cant stop listening to it. I just wish this album had more tracks on it. I heard it before the video and loved it. This is a great compilation of two artists coming together to make music. I also was not expecting anything heavy coming into this. So the album is A-1 in my honest opinion. Any fans of either PP or Opeth will really enjoy this album. :D

As an Opeth and PT fan, couldn’t get much into this. It’s not as bad as Lulu, but can’t say this appeals to my tastes at all, and that’s coming from someone who enjoyed Heritage.

woah, woah woah…. who compared it to Lulu? I didn’t dig it all that much but its nowhere near as bad as Lulu. It’s not even bad

  • Farts

Not a big fan, not a big fan at all.

  • Rhinoron

Sounds a lot of Steven Wilson’s recent solo album. Saw him tour that live and it was fantastic. Hoping for something similar with this, complete with the aforementioned visuals.

  • Geor!

I’ve listened to this thing eight times now. Can’t get enough of it.

  • WURST

I could see how this might be cool if I ate some shrooms and I had an entire visual set to go with the album. Other than that, my only wish is that someone will invent a device that converts audio into toilet paper so I can wipe my ass with this.

Well done! The song complements the story perfectly. Love the illustration, both figuratively and literally.
