I’m glad it’s at DTE instead of The Palace, I just prefer outdoor shows much more – however, indoor shows can run longer, as the Foo Fighters ran until almost 11:45 if I remember correctly.

SOAD, as Deftones are the “guest.” It’s the night before 311, so that’ll be another back-to-back at DTE for me. Can’t wait to wait in line for a half hour to leave down a two mile dirt road while assholes on motorcycles weave in and out.

        • At least u didn’t get so drunk at Deftones and Alice n Chains 2 years ago that your car went “missing” for an hour after the show. All the traffic was gone by the time we finally found our car.

          It’s called Pine Knob, fuckers.

I love that place. I do not love the Clarkston noise ordinance that kills all the shows way too early. I’ll be there either way.

eh I never went to it when it was Pine Knob, nor have I gone snowboarding there (I’ve been exclusive to Caberfae so far). I think their naming rights end pretty soon, so it could be something else soon. The one in Dallas changes names all the time – when I was there for Mayhem it was the “Superpages.com Center,” and I know Florida has the “1-800-Ask-Gary Amphitheater” – it could be much worse.

The Verizon Center means expensive tickets, I hate the Verizon Center, meh maybe I’ll wait for the next tour, I already used up my concert money for Maiden and the Mayhem Festival, this news came in such short notice…

PNC Bank Arts Center is a guarenteed shitty time. Every time I go to that place the cops in the parking lot just walk around harassing everybody. Then after the show it takes a million years to leave the parking lot because the cops literally stop every car and give a pseudo sobriety test to every driver. Fuck that place in its ass.

    • Does anyone know if they are booking more shows? This is just the NE for the most part, so I’ve got to wonder if they will come south and/or out west. Basically I just need to know to where I am buying a plane ticket for me and my boner.

      Dear Deftones,

Please kindly request from your boys in SOAD to show some love to that city you guys all grew up in and made the scene in, but no longer choose to live in (I wouldn’t either, it’s OK). Every time you get a halfway decent tour going, you somehow manage to circumvent the area entirely. I know it’s hot as fuck, but please, do it for the little guys.

Sure, it’s 5,000 miles from the rest of the booked shows so far, but fuck it I’m sure Serj will fit everyone in on his private jet. Hookers and cocaine for everyone!

Oh Man! The Heavy TO line-up just keeps getting better and better. Might be the best line-up since the first Sounds of the Underground tour. Fantastic. Summer 2012 is going to be fan-fucking-tastic.

    • 22 comments about a Deftones/System tour, and they’re almost exclusively about the venues. But on that note, they need to hurry up and announce some California venues.
