Taproot Debut “No Surrender” Music Video
Taproot have debuted their music video for their new single “No Surrender” online below. The band shot the clip with director Eric Richter. According to frontman Stephen Richards:
“The video follows the story of the song, in which our main character is in dire need of escaping his dark and mysterious hotel room (not knowing what’d happened there, but feels something bad).
He is running away, unsure towards what, but longing for a sense of security and safety…Do or die, No Surrender!”
The bands new album “The Episodes” is due in stores on April 10th through Victory.

Okay so I’ve been a fan of this band since I first heard Gift. I’ve stuck by them and seen them at least 15 times live. After Welcome they went downhill FAST. I listened to the entire new album yesterday. Actually I listened to it twice hoping and praying to find 1 song I would at least enjoy. Needless to say I’ve given up, and this album is one of the most boring and pathetic things I’ve ever reviewed. It’s sad to say but I think they need to start looking into applying at Walmart for there future endeavors. I’m truly pissed FOR these guys. Oh well, they had a couple good albums.
You and Schuler (where is he?) should just get it over with and snoodle to Taproot’s catalog. Start google’ing now.
forever endeavor
Wow, even the guys in the band look fucking bored out of their minds to be playing their own music. It also looks like the drummer went through the video production’s prop box and found a nice mustache. Tom Seleck would be proud.
Yep, there’s that ridiculous bass strap I saw back at Ozzfest. I didn’t know Tom Selleck played drums.
Notice the hat, it’s certainly a nod to Magnum PI and Detroit.
