Pantera Seeking Fan Footage Submissions For Upcoming “Piss” Music Video

The Pantera camp are seeing fan submissions for use in their upcoming music video for their unreleased track, “Piss“. Details on that can be found below. “Piss” appears on the forthcoming 20th anniversary edition of the bands “Vulgar Display Of Power“, which will arrive in stores on May 15th through Rhino.

The video itself is set to debut at Revolver Magazine‘s annual “Golden Gods Awards” ceremony which will take place at Club Nokia in Los Angeles, CA on April 11th.

“We are looking for footage of our fans rockin out & moshing to their favorite Pantera song… as hard as they can! The fans that shred the hardest will get their mugs featured in the upcoming NEW PANTERA video for PISS, which is their final UNRELEASED song. Headbang with your friends, climb the walls of your bedroom, skate around the parking lot where you hang out…however you listen to metal, do it for your iPhone, Android, Flipcam, Bloggie, etc and send it to us! You must be over 18 to participate.
Here is what you have to do:

Submit a video file of you moshing and raging to your favorite Pantera song. It should just be 1-2 min of your absolute favorite song right in front of the camera. Please make sure to state your name and age at the beginning of the video so we can match it with your e-mail. Please visit the following URL to upload your video:

I respect these guys but I gotta say this seems like a stupid idea for a video.

      That’s putting it politely.

I agree. I’ve been seeing a trend where bands will put together a video of their fans moshing/rocking out to their music but ask the fans to submit the video. Can’t say I’m a huge fan of the idea but I’d still watch it for the sake of watching a new Pan-fucking-tera video.
