I’m loving some of the nu-metal stage moves.
Well, They ARE a nu-metal band.
Thanks for the lesson in obviousness
You’re welcome.
Detroit (Ann Arbor) is a breeding ground for garbage.
How can you say that when the likes of Kid Rock,Factory 81,Sponge,20 Dead Flower Children,Madhops, etc have come out of there…(yes that is sarcasm)
Sponge is bad ass.
Using Wikipedia for ease; The Detroit Cobras, The Detroit Wheels/Mitch Ryder, Dirty Americans, Electric Six, For the Fallen Dreams, Halloween, Isles & Glaciers, MC5, the Muggs, The Stooges, The Suicide Machines, Walls of Jericho, The White Stripes, George Clinton, Alice Cooper, Ted Nugent, Bob Seger, Motown, Eminem, etc. That’s just in the Metro Detroit region….
aside from the Nuge, that list is atrocious.
Hatin’ on Alice Cooper, The Stooges and MC5? Blasphemy!
It takes a special kind of dipshit to badmouth MC5, Iggy and the Stooges, Alice Cooper, Bob Seger, George Clinton and the Parliament Funkadelic or anyone from Motown Records. Ever heard of Bobo Jenkins, John Lee Hooker or Bill Haley? If someone was to claim that the foundation for rock music was laid in Detroit, they would have a shitload of evidence to back up their case.
A curious intersection of “my waning personal interest in this band” and “their path from nu-metal to blue sky… whatever” is visually represented well here in these scenes. I will enjoy watching this. Memories‘….
I like how the venues kept getting smaller.
I also like how during the course of the the video they went from being a drop tuned Nu Metal band to sounding like wannabe StainD radio rock horse shit. Keepin’ it real!!!
They’ve changed, sure, but Staind is a pretty lazy comparison.
Did you not read the radio rock horse shit part? Thought that elaborated my point a little better. Guess not.
I suppose, but I guess I’m just not hearing what you’re hearing. If they sounded anything like the butt-rock bands, they wouldn’t have a record deal with Victory only to play to 200 people a night at best. I think they’ve stayed pretty true to themselves without staying stuck in the nu-metal mold. Plead the Fifth was a pretty awesome album, but I wouldn’t be surprised if most folks here never bothered to give it a listen.
hey, you guys sound like you should know, which band is a true metal band right now?
Do you know maybe recent cool metal onstage moves? Like, is long hair still cool?
what the fuck is this all about^^^^^^
no idea. perhaps HE’s WEAK!!!
