Too old for modeling, Dave? Back to drumming!
@Fred Wurst – Are you kidding? This is so much… less… worse… (can’t say “better”) than Stillwell. Music and image.
Oh, I won’t be getting an Infinika tattoo anytime soon, but the tunes are basically alright, and the guy can sing. His voice reminds me of Perry Farrell a bit. But his hair’s terrible. And that’s what this is all really about. So I don’t like them.
      Fuck were we talking about?

At first they sounded like a less annoying version of U2. Then they sounded like a less awesome version of STP I’m not extremely excited after this but it could end up being listenable. Just the chance of Infinika creating something that isn’t complete shit puts them on a level Stillwell will never reach.

    • Always thought Anyone got shit on by Roadrunner when they signed like 400 bands between 1999 and 2002. Very interesting band/frontman. Definitely looking forward to this.

    • I am willing to bet that someone at Roadrunner lost their job over the signing of Anyone.

I think the Simpsons character Lyle Lanley had it right when he said “You know a town with money is a little like the mule with a spinning wheel. No-one knows how he got it and danged if he knows how to use it!”

I think Anyone got “shit on” largely because no one knew what the hell to do with them.

They weren’t really a band that could have been paired with any of Roadrunner’s roster (at the time), they couldn’t even have bought them an appearance on ANY Ozzfest stage and 90% of the other festivals they COULD have appeared on simply didn’t exist at the time.

And that being said, I am a huge fan of Anyone and after listening to this, I can honestly say that I am willing to spend some money on purchasing the album when it comes out.

    • Nice sound. Good songs. In the pocket drumming. I think Dave is trying to get out of Korn’s shadow and broadening his horizons. This will be interesting. This is faaar better than Stillwell and Infinika has a very unique sound and singer.

    • I loved the Anyone album when it came out. It reminded me of Jane’s Addiction crossed with Led Zeppelin vocally. I honestly thought that a band like that would blur into obscurity. Am looking forward to this. The hair is shit but if you are balding, I guess it’s a creative way to hide it.

This reminds me of STP…………. which means I will be checking it out. I can’t believe that’s how Dave looks after 5-6 years of not being in Korn…. weird.

    • That is some of the corniest shit I’ve seen in awhile (and Silveria looks like shit and too old to be doing that in that “band”.) 1998 forever!

i think korns shot, like a boxer thats been in too many fights, davis’s lyrics are just horid and predicatible and their musical taste is gone thats why fieldy is in stillwell and why the last cd sounded like it did.

The eye candy’s nice, and songs aren’t unlistenable. Nice flash of the Fonz. Won’t buy it but won’t turn it off if it came up while streaming tunes.

Only reason I watched this was the hope that Dave was putting out something that was going to be superior to the drivel that passes for Korn these days. I guess not.
