Stick To Your Guns Add Evergreen Terrace Guitarist To Their Lineup

Stick To Your Guns have welcomed guitarist Josh James (which the press release lists as “ex-Evergreen Terrace“) to their lineup. He will make his debut with the band during their upcoming run on the “Fight The Silence Tour” with For Today, A Skylit Drive, etc.

Stick To Your Guns frontman Jesse Barnett commented on James‘ addition to the lineup with the following:

“What else is to be said about Josh James other than the fact that he is a one of a kind individual. We couldn’t be happier with having him join the STYG camp. Anyone who knows us and knows him knows that this is a perfect fit. With that being said, we would like to proudly welcome Josh to the circus that is STICK TO YOUR GUNS. Pit big or go home.”

Meanwhile, James himself added:

“I’ve always been a fan of STYG. I like what they stand for. I like the music. I am beyond stoked to be playing with such awesome guys. After hearing the new stuff, I thought that I would definitely love to be a part of this. When they asked me to join it was a very easy decision to make.”

Stick To Your Guns have completed work on their new album “Diamond” which they will release through Sumerian Records this spring.

    Evergreen Terrace rule! This sucks!

josh’s work, as far as i know, has been terrific with evergreen terrace and casey jones, would’ve loved to have heard him contribute to the new songs though.

Of all the bands that sound similar to them, Evergreen Terrace should’ve been WAAAAY more popular. Burned Alive By Time was fucking awesome, and Sincerity was pretty good, too. Haven’t heard anything they’ve done since then (or if they’re even still together), but it sucks they’re not huge.

“Haven’t heard anything they’ve done since then” sucks to be you, bro.
