        There’s no way they’re millionaires. But the majority of people having a hard economic time would listen to Chevelle before they would listen to the Black Dahlia Murder. It’s just the nature of the genre.

      • They’ve sold over 3 million records. Maybe they’re not millionaires, but they’re not exactly hurting for money either.

        I’ve never been into Chevelle and this song doesn’t change my opinion of them. But to each his own, brah.

        • These comments about money always make my shake my head. Are people still so clueless about record deals? Bands make pennies per CD sold and are responsible for huge chunks of their own expenses…..Like them or not like them, that’s the truth of the matter. Their label is a division of Sony, nuff said. If they are smart they will get out from under that unbrella ASAP.

    • We have no idea how much money the members of Chevelle has. Period. Also, this band is extremely consistent, great live, and their albums are always high quality. Their new album is one of their best for sure, and it’s a little different then what Chevelle usually puts out.

      Chevelle = Hit or MIss

      I have enjoyed a few of their songs. I’m not going to deny it. I would probably never pay to see them in concert though.

      “An Evening With El Diablo” is still their best song, in my opinion. As simple as its structure is, that song is still a winner in my books.

      • For me it was the opposite. I just knew them as “the band that played Send the Pain Below and Seeing Red” and after I saw them live the first time I was thoroughly impressed and explored their catalog more.
