More footage from this past Wednesday’s (December 14th) “Dimebash 2011” has hit the net. The event, which took place at the Key Club in Hollywood, CA, saw members of Disturbed, System Of A Down, Anthrax, Rage Against The Machine, Alice In Chains and many more perform together in tribute to fallen Pantera/Damageplan guitarist, “Dimebag” Darrell Abbott.
The latest footage to be posted finds members of Black Sabbath, Rage Against The Machine, Disturbed, System Of A Down, Rob Zombie, Anthrax, In This Moment, Suicidal Tendencies, Soulfly and more teaming up. They tackle Van Halen, Metallica, Black Sabbath, AC/DC, Suicidal Tendencies and Bruce Springsteen covers.

Yea, because if there’s one thing Dimebag was known to have a deep well known passion for, it was fucking Bruce Springsteen. Would have been cool to see someone like David Allan Coe involved in this instead a bunch of nu metal drop outs and Sebastian fucking Bach.

Why do people need to be so rotten all the time?
Not everything I say is “rotten”, I just think this whole “Dimebash” bullshit was a joke. The only true way to pay tribute to such an amazing musician is blast Pantera albums all day as loud as you can and get fucked up on blacktoothed grins until your neighbors call the cops. It’s not some goddamn star-studded shindig in Hollywood.
