COMMENTS
That “Rebel Of Babylon” song has some good riffs.
Does anyone else agree that the last week or so has been one of the best times to be a Metallica fan? Those 30th anniversary shows are just jam-packed with everything a serious Metallica fan would want to see, and I’m glad we live in a time where YouTube lets us all see what happened there.
Agreed. Now if only we could forget the last 15 years and 5 albums of their carrer.
Just saying.
I really want to defend Death Magnetic here, but every other album they’ve released since the black album justifies that generalization.
I am so sick and tired of hearing about this band. If these guys put as much effort into making a good album as they do bitching and moaning, they’d have my respect. Metallica died after Load.
If you are so tired of hearing about this band, why take the time to A) click on the post, B) read the post and then C)comment on the post, not once, but twice!
On a side note, I think you’re right about Hetfield using meth.
Because they’re unavoidable on theprp right now. Over the hill, dumb-ass, plod-rock morons. Lulu wasn’t enough to show you this band makes some of the worst, tone-deaf music around?
i think you’re missing the big picture here. Metallica could never ever write another record for as long as they live and still be the biggest metal band of all time. this LuLu shit is just them saying, “we can do whatever we want and still make a shit ton of money off of it.” does it suck? absolutely. but you’re never not going to hear about metallica. not in this lifetime and not in the next. metallica is metallica. doesn’t matter if they record their own farts (which is essentially what St. Anger is) and it would still go platinum. they’re untouchable. so the solution to you being sick of hearing about them is either to jam pencils in your ears or stop paying attention to music altogether. they’re everywhere.
oh and for some reason James Hetfield looks like a meth addict these days.
Musicians need to revert back to the drug-addicted look. Every band now looks like a bunch of cock-sucking pussies! Put down the hair-gel, take off those purple skinny jeans and shoot some meth!

The fifteen in me has a humongous boner and is spraying jeez in the faces of all the Metallica haters right now! Yes, they are a bunch of old crusty dick-lickers, but I would have murdered a small family for tickets to this show! I grew on this shit and they played basically every song I would have wanted them to in my “cream-dream” Metallica setlist scenario.
