What the fuck is going on with this site lately? The majority of the posts from the past few days/weeks have been about shitty nu-metal/rap metal bands from the late 90′s and early 00′s that not only suck now, but sucked at the height of their popularity when, for some odd reason, some people actually cared about them. I’d rather read multiple posts of bands I’ve never heard of than read a single post of terrible, over-payed, washed-up bands with receding hairlines trying to make a comeback.

    • I havent paid attention to Korn since Issues, and i was never a huge fan…but this stuff is kinda neat live, and hearing some of the old stuff took me back a bit. No shame in remembering where you came from and reminiscing a little, don’t slam wook for posting this, i enjoyed it. Absolutely killer light show to say the least. Also digging the Metallica 30th anniversary posts, hope they make those into DVDs. Oh, and just saw animals as leaders live last night…then went home and set my guitar on fire, cuz why the fuck even bother anymore…consider myself mind-fucked. (no guitar was harmed during the creation of this response, that was just to make a point…dude is good)

I went ahead and watched most of it. The older songs in the second half sound surprisingly good. The band still has it together live, and they sound just as good as when I saw them way back in ’01 when I was but a young lad. The newer stuff though…I dunno. I thought maybe in a live setting it would sound better, more full…but I think it actually sounds even more empty than the album. I’ll give them credit for taking a huge chance and trying something new, but I’m just not that impressed by it.
