Listened to it again, nope, still sucks.

Also, your handle is named after Hatebreed. Anyone who likes anything Jasta’s been involved in clearly has an opinion that doesn’t matter to me anyway.

        • Hey deathcore kids, since those of us who contribute to society pay for your welfare and/or disability via taxes howz about youz guyz shut your fucking traps and accept that your opinions are worth as much as tits on a nun. Just because your parents held your head underwater often enough at a young age that you have the intellect of a potato doesn’t mean the rest of us should have to suffer right? Dummy-up bitches

    • Okay, so, a vocalist with nothing to make him stand out from the crowd covers a vocalist who can at least carry a tune. Hmm. A guitarist who couldn’t even stay in a shitty band contributes solos. Hmm. And this all comes together as one of the three guitarists from Whitechapel does a boring cover of an only semi-decent Slayer song. I feel like I yawned for the entire song.

    • This was the weakest song off God Hates Us All to begin with, and it really doesn’t lend itself to death metal or hardcore as far as style goes… so why they’d pick it is beyond me. But as a fan of both Whitechapel and I Declare War… I still have to say this cover sucks.

      Tough critics!

I actually like the original by Slayer. Recent output overrated? Maybe. Overrated BAND? I don’t think so. 3/4s of the metal bands mentioned on this site would not exist if it wasn’t for Slayer.

Just where a guitarist from a derivative band plans to go with this tune I am not sure. Especially since it is so similar in style to the original.

If you don’t hear their influence, may I suggest getting familiar with their back catalog? Wishful thinking, my ass. 3/4 was a modest figure, dude!
