A recent posting through the official HELLYEAH channels made by guitarist Greg Tribbett has shed some light on Mudvayne‘s current status. It reads as follows:
“Just to set the Record straight. MUDVAYNE is on Hiatus! Chad and I are concentrating on HY and will be touring HY the next 2 years! Cheers !”

Confirming the already obvious. Shame they didn’t tour off the last album; it was actually a decent effort compared to the one before.
Wow, really? 4 thumbs down so far? No one actually liked their self-titled album? It was a far cry from their glory days, but much better than either The New Game or Lost & Found. Then again, I actually listened to the thing and gave it a fair shot.

hell yeah is weeeeeeeeeeeeell, an embarassment, for those of you bashing mudvayne though you’re legally retarded, mudvayne made music that was technically proficient and accessable, they cared about their rythm section and keeping the vocals metal/melodic everyone of them pulled their own weight, and when the end of all things to come came out and it was produced by the same amazing producer responsible for one of my all time favorite bands king crimson, i thought they had some shit to prove and they surpased any of the modern metal even years later had produced, open your minds not your assholes to eachothers uniformed, idiotic opinionated flacid cocks, fuck you
