I don’t care about this band or their peers but you’re right. All of these trend hopping nu-metallers trying to ape what’s cool these days makes me gag. Maybe others will forget that you were a nu-metal band….but I won’t.

Make an album full of songs that sound like ‘Mindtrip’ and I’ll be happy. I agree that trend hopping isn’t the way to go.
I came of age in the nu-metal world when I was a lad. nonpoint’s first 2 albums rocked I thought. then I changed and they changed and we broke up. this shit… will not bring me back. from time to time I enjoy listening to something that makes me feel 14 again. I agree w/ bulletshock, play mindtrip.
shame on you Nonpoint, you won’t impress anyone with wannabe metal. at least one clip in the middle sounded like them.
Apparently they have in fact impressed people with “wannabe metal,” because that’s all they’ve ever made.
Nonpoint are one band that could probably benefit from going softer if anything. Dude has a great voice when he is actually singing. Some of this sounds alright tho i can’t see it working without some big vocals in there somewhere.
Heavier than before!!! Very Good… Showing you having forget your roots… But don’t over do it. You may loose some fans! Nice guitar shredding. Double bass drum??? Robb I forgot you knew how to do that. Just kidding dude, its sound great! Voice sound kind of different, don’t know if I love it. I can’t wait to hear the whole album to have a better judgment.
