      • It’s not excessive at all. This is exactly the model that bands should follow moving forward. Get your music out there for free or super cheap in digital/cd format, then make bank by releasing higher end/collectable versions.

The problem is no band is going to make bank by releasing a few hundred collectable albums. I like the concept and I’m sure it puts a little extra change in a band’s pocket, but it’s not going to save a dying industry. Not even close.

I don’t think they’re trying to “save a dying industry” or make money. Just trying to give fans something cool that not everyone else can have. I’ve always been about that.

        • i sincerely doubt chino, shaun, or greg are trying to save the industry. the EP was awesome, and now here’s their chance to make some money off something i’m sure they did just for the fuck of it. the small overhead expense to make this stuff is gonna be more than compensated by the time they sell out, which i’m sure they will.

Being a HUGE Chino fan more than half of my life, And considering this EP is pretty rad, This was a no brainer. Fuck, I would ordered it just for that USB stick and record alone, Never mind a shirt, a scarf and some custom art. And it’s limited to less than 500? TOTALLY worth it.

I just can’t get behind it.
If it were a present, I would gratefully accept.
But this is a 5 song EP.
I’d love to buy the physical disc, or vinyl would work, too.
I don’t need luggage tags, bbq sauce, or fuckin’ scarves.
You’re gonna have to send me a pic of you in that cute pink necklace, Weird White Guy. lol I’m not hatin’ tho.

Haha. Not much of a scarf guy personally, But my girl will more than likely wear the fuck outta that thing. I mostly just wanted the USB stick to be honest, But the Vinyl, T-Shirt and BBQ Sauce aren’t anything to scoff at either. Ha.

To me it feels excessive. Sure collectibles are fun, but wtf are youo gonna do with this shit?, it’s like they raided a spencer gifts and tagged their logo on a bunch of random items. Just make a few more songs and release a goddamn limited pressing cd…
